Two Men and a Mission: A celebration of images by Dr. John P. Schaefer and Ansel Adams 

Complimentary Reception & Lecture

Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Center for Creative Photography, 1030 N. Olive Rd. in Tucson.

Dr. Schaefer will discuss his relationship with Ansel Adams and present a photographic homage featuring the White Dove of the Desert. 

Dr. Schaefer is President Emeritus of the University of Arizona, where he taught and researched for more than 20 years. He opened the UA Center for Creative Photography with Ansel Adams in 1975. A selection of Dr. Schaefer’s cactus flower images were recently featured on U.S. Postal Service forever stamps.
